Returning from the other side of the pond.

Being on vacation to England for the past week I have seen many beautiful things (1000 year old cathedrals, churches and castles).  The history is amazing over there, it makes you realize how young America really is.

Not only was this trip a holiday from work it was a holiday from technology.   No Laptop or cell phone and guess what, I really didn’t miss them.   The most complicated things I used for a week were my iPod and my digital camera.  I did manage to exhaust the batteries from both.   But I guess the world will hold together if I don’t check my email for a week.

Going through the Birmingham, UK airport..  I did see one of the more alarming things of my trip.  For the geeks out there..  the picture should say it all.   I hope this isn’t the machine the air traffic controllers are using.

This trip has refreshed my batteries and I look forward to cleaning up some code and finishing up some of the personal projects that have found their way to this site.
